Phonological Awareness
Phonological awareness is learning to hear, identify, and manipulate the sounds of speech such as words, syllables, and phonemes. Phonemes are the the 44 sounds that are used in speech. HELP Phonological Awareness provides a systematic and explicit phonological awareness curriculum that teaches children how to hear, segment, blend, and manipulate phonemes through MiniLessons and phonological awareness games such as Sound Adventures.
