- Create two lines of 5 students.
- Stand about 10 yards away.
- Invite the first student in each line to walk/run toward you to touch your hand when you say, “go”.
- Lead the students back to the line.
- Ask a question to one student.
- Listen to the answer.
- Say to the other student: “Do you agree or disagree?”
- If they agree, ask the students in line: “Is that true?”
- Celebrate and send the pair to the end of the line.
- Repeat for the rest of the line.
- If the student disagrees ask: “What do you think?”
- Listen to the response and return to the first student:
- “Do you agree or disagree?”If they still do not agree, hand the pair the book and send them to the back of the line to find out.
- Keep up the pace and be positive.
